Update 12/30/2010

Katie is a a real charmer. She loves to play ball and loves her toys. She will make a wonderful family pet. Being part Beagle she will need to be in a fenced yard or walked on a leash. We're working on the leash walking as she does tend to pull if some thing catches her attention. When you look in those eyes you can't help but fall in love with Katie.

Katie is an adorable 2-year old female Beagle/Basset Hound mix who was found on December 27, 2010. This lovely young lady has a reddish-brown short smooth coat with white highlights on her chest and paws, a long tail, and a beautiful face with expressive brown eyes and long velvety ears. She has a rather long body and short legs which were probably inherited from the Basset side of her family. "Katie" has a wonderful disposition and a friendly, gentle personality which could have come from either side of her family :)
