A beautiful girl waiting for a home....that describes Shadow.

She is a young, mixed breed dog that was adopted out as a puppy but had to be surrendered because her owner became very ill.  She had already learned basic obedience and was an accomplished running partner with her previous owner.  She could play off leash and would come when called.  She has good manners and does not jump up despite being a young and happy girl.  

She is housebroken, very eager to play, and her tail is always wagging.  Her owner was heartbroken about having to give her up. Shadow has suffered through the transition of losing her owner and is doing well in her foster home.

She has lived with other dogs, but does not always get along with other females.  She would be fine as an only dog, or with a male dog.  She is not good with cats.
