Hammie is AWESOME. He is spending the week of June 13 thru June 17 at Camp Ruffin' It  with 24 children ages 8 - 12.  He went from a puppy that needed leash and obedience training to a trained dog in just 4 days with these children.  He learned leash training, sit, stay, down, crawl, heel, and more.  He is very attentive and not only walks but runs on leash with the children now!

June 18 Hammie will return to a high kill shelter in WV.  He had to pass a rigid temperament test in order to qualify for camp.

5 month old Lab mix puppy who was brought in to a kill shelter on May 1, 2011 as a stray. He is very friendly, good with other dogs and with children.  At that time he required additioal leash and obedience training, along with house breaking. He will be neutered upon adoption.
