Gizzy is about 2-3 years old, was picked up running on a busy highway. He's a cute little guy, loves his humans a LOT!  he's been crate trained since being here and does very well going to 'bed' when we leave for work. Someone does come home mid day to let him out and it would be good for him to have a similar situation. But he would do well as long as it doesn't bypass 8 hours of alone time during the day, as it should with all dogs.

He apparently was a runner when loose as he was found running the highways. He is always on lead when taken out, the one time he wasn't he did run again but came back when called.  So he needs either a fenced in yard or a secure setting to be leashed when taken out.

He's good with other dogs and doesn't bother my cats at all, he also is great with the kids ages 3, 12 and 16. He's well behaved and only barks when he hears something.
