Dixie and her adorable sisters arrived to our rescue and are precious!!  They just turned 8 weeks old on 10/11/11 and are very sociable, sweet puppies.  These pups were born in foster care and are ready for adoption.

Dixie is mostly white with a mostly black head and black areas on her body.  She is precious and the runt of the group!!  She is not a whole lot smaller than the others, but, she is the smallest.  Dixie looks more like a Jack Russell Terrier in her face. She is very affectionate and loves to be held.  Her favorite spot is snuggling up on someone's lap. She will actually climb her way up to lay on my lap :-)  Dixie does enjoy playing with the other puppies, but, she and Addy are the first ones to settle down and find a place to lay. If you are looking for a very snuggly, affectionate, and fairly calm puppy, then you should consider Dixie. She is going to make a wonderful family pet.

Dixie currently weighs 5 pounds and will most likely grow to be a small to medium size dog.  She will have received her first 2 puppy shots and dewormed twice by the time she is ready for adoption....which will be the weekend of 10/29/11.
