Meet Annie...She is about 3 years old and a purebred pembroke welsh corgi. Annie was left tied outside a shelter in Ky. in the cold of February. She tested positive for heartworm and the shelter thought they would have a lot of trouble finding an adopter or rescue since heartworm treatment is very expensive. Needless to say Worthy Tails decided that it wasn't her fault and she deserved a chance. After 2 months Annie has been treated with meds and overnight stays at the vet office and has been retested and completely clear of heartworm, but will have to be given monthly heartworm preventitive for the rest of her life (all dogs should be on heartworm preventitive.)

Annie is a sweet girl who wants someone to sit by. She follows me all over and loves human relationships. She is great with kids, cats , and other dogs. She is not overly playful but does enjoy her toys. Annie will make a perfect companion dog for someone who wants a bestfriend. Annie is well worth all of the time and money that has been placed into her. Now all she needs is a forever home full of love and caring.
