Maggie, Molly and Megan arrived to our rescue on May 19th and will be ready for adoption the weekend of June 2nd.  These 3 beautiful girls were dumped at a high kill shelter in Ohio by a man whose dog had a litter and he could not find homes for them.  Since they were owner surrenders, they were next on the list for euthanisia!  We are very glad we were able to save these sweeties as they are such nice, good pups!  They are approximately 6 months old and are labrador retriever mixes.  We are guessing they are mixed with probably some spaniel and some hound.  They are geniune mutts :-)

Maggie is the biggest of the 3 pups.  She currently weighs 27 pounds and is very leggy.  She appears to be more of a lab/hound mix, but does have some black & white ticking on the ends of her paws possibly indicating some spaniel.  Whatever her mix is, she is adorable!  She appears to be housebroken as she has not had an accident yet.  We have started with the crate training and she is doing well (some fussing at first, but she settles down).  She is co-habitating with the 4 dogs that reside here and does great with them!  She also does fine with the house cat.  Overall, she is a fantastic puppy!  Maggie really LOVES to be with humans and craves the attention.  She stays right by my side and listens very well!  She can be a little shy when first meeting people, however, warms up nicely.  Maggie is very sweet and is going to make a very nice pet!
