Maxie and her littermates arrived to our rescue on October 6th and are just wonderful puppies!! They came from a shelter in Kentucky that works very hard on finding rescues for their dogs and puppies...so, fortunately, they landed at a responsible shelter.

Maxie is currently around 9 weeks old (as of 10/5/12) and weighs 12 pounds. She appears to be a mix of possibly hound and labrador retriever. Her legs are pretty long, so I think she is going to grow to be a large dog that is going to be tall. Maxie is very playful and is the 2nd most energetic out of the group. This puppy knows no stranger and is happiest when she is romping with her littermates and racing around the yard :-) She is going to do best with a family that is active and has time to properly exercise her. This precious girl is just a great puppy that makes you giggle watching her in action!  Maxie has great markings and such an adorable face....how can you resist her?!

Maxie will have received her first two parvo/distemper vaccines, dewormed 3 times and treated with Frontline by the time she is eligible for adoption. Her adoption fee is $250.
