Bo Dog is very affectionate, not a drooler, appears to be housetrained, walks nicely on leash, does not jump up on people, good with other dogs, and rides very well in a vehicle. He is past the chewing age and content to be your companion.
Jan 17 update: Bo Dog went to the office with me today, all day. He did well greeting people coming and going, took naps and played with his squeaky ball when he got bored. He still whimpers softly sometimes and I think that is because he is used to running free, from house to house. Its getting better. He certainly rides nicely in the car, quiet, just calmly looking out the window.
Jan 7 update: We have discovered that Bo Dog is an escape artist when left alone. He is fine when someone is nearby and doesn't try to bolt out the door or jump the fence - he just feels sad when alone and tries to get to people or dogs. This is not unusual as most displaced dogs will try to get back to their familiar surroundings until they feel "at home" in their new location. Plus: neutering will be helpful (has appt Jan 10) And: he has been getting very little exercise here in foster care (exercise can cure a world of ills)(remember he is GREAT on leash).
Bo Dog would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time or with a master who could take Bo along. He is very social and a favorite of other dogs and people alike. He even likes going to the vet! Would you be committed to Bo Dog for his adjustment period in order to have a most wonderful lifetime companion? Adoption fee of $275 covers cost of his vetting and transportation to meet his new family.
