LIGHT SHEDDER! EXCELLENT FAMILY DOG Good with other dogs. Good with children.
The Redbone Coonhound is happy, even-tempered and very good with children. It can be surprisingly affectionate and has a pleasant-sounding bark (foster dad calls it a "foreign accent"). It loves being with its people.
Wiggins is a smart, fun and silly pup who sits down wherever he gets tired (see picture below). He is strikingly handsome and nobody misses seeing him - you can just see every head turn when he is out and about with his foster parents. Wiggins is very attentive and loves to learn - he knows "sit" and is working on "stay" and he likes to cuddle with people or other dogs. He has not been "cat tested" but he is a prey driven breed so probably best in a home without cats. Still working on potty training but uses newspapers currently.
Wiggins was surrendered by his owners because they weren't ready for a puppy after all. He is looking for a forever home with a fenced yard and maybe even a big bed to share and someone who wants to spend time having fun or just hanging out with him.
