Pia came through our rescue about 5 years ago as a puppy and has lived a very happy home life with her current owner. However, a baby has now come along and she is not really digging the little one in the household. Pia does not like small children as she is not comfortable with quick movements and children coming at her.
Pia has been an only dog and does fine with adult humans. Per her owner, she is okay with other smaller dogs with a laid back personality. She is uncomfortable with big dogs and will snip at them. She is "okay" at dog parks (with the small dogs) as long as she doesn't get bombarded by a bunch of dogs (which, most dogs don't like being surrounded by a pack of dogs!). Pia is completely housebroken and is very good in the house. She is not crated as she doesn't chew on anything and does not have accidents. Generally, Pia is a good dog. She just needs to be in a quiet home where there isn't a lot of commotion.
Pia currently weighs 20 pounds; she is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $200.
If you are interested in adopting Pia, please complete an application on our website at www.worthytails.rescuegroups.org. For any questions you may have about her, please email Jessie at jessie.wilson@comcast.net.
