Hank and his litter mates arrived to our rescue on August 10th from Opelika, Alabama. This litter was surrendered to a very high kill shelter and were literally saved within hours of euthanization. The shelter was already overflowing and owner surrenders are the first to be put down. We are most grateful that we could save them!
We believe this litter of puppies are a mix of labrador retriever, hound, spaniel and a couple look a little pittie. Keep in mind, there can be different fathers in a litter which is probably why there is such a variety in this group! They are around 4 months old and will probably grow to be medium to large dogs....depending on the puppy. I believe Hank could possibly more of an extra large dog as he is the biggest pup ane already weighing 40 lbs at 4 months!
Hank is a sweet, friendly, calm pup! Since we have gotten down in numbers with this litter, he is more playful with his litter mates and is enjoying his human attention. He is very good about going in his kennel at night time and doesn not make a sound. Hank does bark when the other dogs are playing because he apparently has something to say about it :-)! Everyone that has met Hank has loved him!! We sure wish he could find his forever home!! He will make a sweet, loving pet for a lucky person, couple or family!
Hank has received all of his distemper/parvo vaccines, rabies vaccine, dewormed multiple times and current on flea/tick preventative. His adoption fee is $350.
