Kahlua and her sisters joined our rescue on 9/7 and both her sisters found their forever home, but Kahlua is still in search of a permanent home  They were found along a highway in Alabama and ended up in a high kill shelter.  We are glad we could save them!

Kahlua is currently weighing approximately 20 lbs.and we don't think she will get much bigger. We believe she is somewhere around 8 months old. As for the breeds, we  are not sure, however, we think they are probably a mix of cattle dog and some other breeds, possibly jack russell. 

Kahlua is a very friendly and sweet girl.  She does well with other dogs, but she really loves her human attention.  She has also been around cats, but does like to play, so she would do best with a cat that is used to being around dogs.  Kahlua does need to continue to work on manners she does jump and play bite, so she would probably do best in a home with children 8 yrs and older. She is crate trained and is still working on potty training but doing very well. She also is working on her commands. She loves to walk or hike and does well on a leash, she doesnt pull but she does get distracted by smells. Kahlua would love to just curl up on your lap or go for a ride in the car. She likes to run and play fetch too. She is an all around good pup. 

Kahlua is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and flea/tick preventative and has had multiple dewormings.  Her adoption fee is $375.
