Rex and his siblings arrived to our rescue on February 15th from a shelter in Alabama where they were found as strays. They are believed to be around 3 months old and a mix of labrador retriever, hound, and terrier.
Rex is currently weighing around 18 lbs and most likely is going to grow to be a large dog. He was a little shy and unsure of us when he arrived, however, he now loves us like crazy! We did have him at the vet's and he did very well! He was a little skeptical of the office staff, but when they offered treats....then they were okay...LOL! Once he is comfortable with you, he is very loving and sweet. We have had Rex around all of the resident dogs and he has done great with them! With him being a little reserved, he may do best in a home with older children.
Rex has received all 3 of his distemper/parvo vaccines and has also been vaccinated with bordatella. He is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention and dewormed multiple times. His adoption fee is $350.
