Elijah was born along with his 8 brothers on the night of May 13th.  Yes!  That is right!  All of these puppies are males!  MaeBelle, the mother, was rescued on May 12th from a high kill shelter in WV.  These puppies were born at the foster home and have been cuddled and nurtured each and every day by the foster mom.  They are very healthy puppies and will soon be ready to go to their "furever" homes.  MaeBelle is also up for adoption and is posted on the website as well.  Of course, we have no idea of who the father may be!  These puppies are very sociable and very sweet!  If you are interested in meeting these adorable puppies, please complete an application on our website at www.worthytails.rescuegroups.org.  Only approved applicants will be permitted to visit the puppies.  

Elijah has a few words of his own to say:  "Hi!  My name is Elijah and I keep hearing my foster mom say that I am the runt of the litter.  That doesn't sound very nice!  I am not sure what a runt is and not sure that I want to be one....but, I guess I am!  I can tell you that I am very, very sweet and looovvve to play!  Do you like to play?  Playtime is the best!  I guess it is soon going to be time for me and my brothers to move onto bigger and better lives.  Although I do enjoy playing with all my brothers, I am not sure I want to stay with them forever!  Do you have a loving home for me that I could be your best companion...oh yea, and playmate, too?!"

Elijah and his brothers are current on vaccines, have been dewormed, and will be microchipped on Friday, July 17th.  All puppies will also have a collar and leash.
