Gabe and his littermates arrived to the rescue on January 22nd and are now in search of their forever homes. This litter of puppies were found on a country road in Alabama, so we do not know the parents. We believe they were born in mid November, 2021.
Gabe is an adorable black and white puppy that looks like he is a pitbull mix. He is currently around 20 lbs and guessing he will be around 60ish lbs when full grown. Gabe is very friendly and does well with both humans and other dogs! He was food resourceful when he arrived, but his foster mom is working with him and he has improved a lot, but that is something that will need to be continued training. He is being fostered with 4 adult dogs and some cats and does well with them. The cats do catch his attention, however, he learning "leave it". His foster mom takes him to work with her...so, lots of socialization! Oh....did we tell you he graduated from puppy class?! Yep! He is friendly and smart!
Gabe has received his first 3 distemper/parvo vaccines, bordatella vaccine, microchipped, dewormed 3 times, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $400.
