Sabrina and her brother have come from a very poor area in southern West Virginia.  They were never in a shelter, but have not had the greatest care as their owners did not have the means to provide for them.  The father is a shih-tzu and the mother is a small border collie mix weighing around 20 pounds.  Sadly, this is probably the 3rd or 4th litter from these two and the dogs end up growing to be around 20 to 25 pounds.  Our rescue has offered the funds to have these two dogs altered and hopefully, they will have it done.

Sabrina is a sweet girl who is just a tad shy.  Her tail wags when you talk to her and if you just stand still or sit down, she will start to come over to you.  It appears she really wants the attention, but just isn't too sure of it yet.  Hopefully, over the next few weeks of getting lots of love and socialization, she will start to be very sociable!  I will continue to update her bio on her progress.
