Jill and her brother, Jack joined our rescue on August 18th in search of their forever homes. These precious pups were found as strays with their momma in West Virginia and landed themselves at the local shelter. The momma has been adopted!
Jill is the smaller of the two puppies, but is going to be a very big dog! They are currently around 3 1/2 months old and Jill weighs around 28 lbs. They definitely have great pyrenees in them and believed to be mixed with labrador retriever. The mom is a great pyrenees mix for sure. We know these puppies are extremely cute, but Great Pyrenees are not dogs for apartments, townhouses, and condos. They do bark when they feel they are protecting the home and they do shed and require regular grooming.
Jill is on the shy side, but still very sweet!! She is being socialized in the foster's neighborhood and does very well. She can be resourceful over the toys with Jack (fortunately, he doesn't care), however, does great with kids. There are no other foster dogs in the household, however, we believe she would be fine with other dogs. She is being crate trained and her foster family is working with her on house training and leash walking.
Jill is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines (distemper, rabies, bordatella and lepto), dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.
