This dog is kid, cat, and dog friendly.

Ozzie has been homeless for a long time only because he is larger, black, male, and adult:  these are the last dogs to get adopted and most likely to be euthanized simply because they are larger, black, male and adult.  Strangest thing but that's what the numbers say.

A great dog, Ozzie is very well behaved and is just a sweetheart. He's neutered and current on shots so is ready to go to his new home. He walks well on leash and he loves to cuddle with whoever is close to him.

Ozzie is around 3 years old, has a shiny jet black short smooth coat with just a few white highlights under his chin and on his chest, and a very handsome face with beautiful brown eyes and floppy ears. He weighs 55.8 lbs. Ozzie probably wouldn't qualify as a "couch potato" but he sure was very gentle and well-behaved for his photo shoot.

Ozzie does well with the kids in his foster home as well as the other dogs and is great with cats too.  Our 3 yr old hand feeds him and loves on him (aka she "wools him!"), and the older kids (10 & 14) enjoy playing with him and petting him.  Ozzie is apprently allergic to smoke, so will need to have a non-smoking home.
