This dog is CAT and DOG and KID FRIENDLY.

Sage was a recent participant of Camp Ruffin It where she was cared for and trained by a group of 8 to 12 year olds for a week while they learned proper dog handling/care.  She is wonderful with children.  See picture below of her learning to run on leash.

My name is Sage and I'm a 1 1/2 year old Angel/Hound mix (honest, see my wings) who is here waiting for my new permanent home and family. My previous owners brought me to the shelter on July 3, 2010 because they didn't want a dog anymore.  I am very good with children, other dogs, and cats. I dearly love long walks, lots of play time, and love playing ball with you. I am already house and crate trained. I weigh 48.4 lbs at this time. Sage was left at the shelter July 3 so she needs to be adopted very soon...owner surrendered pets are at risk of being euthanized with no hold time.

Sage's adoption fee of $200 provides a wonderful, wonderful pet who is spayed, up to date with shots, heartworm/lyme tested, wormed, flea/tick treated, vet checked and transported to meet her new owner.  Please hurry because Sage is currently in a high kill shelter in WV and her time is up.  She is far too nice a dog to not find a home.
