Maverick and his siblings have arrived to our rescue on Wednesday, 8/25 and they are total sweetness!
According to the shelter, this crew was turned in by the owners as they were sadly another unwanted litter. The owner said they are about 3 months old, however, the shelter believes based on their size that they are probably closer to 4 months. They are beautiful puppies and appear to be a shepherd mix.....we are guessing german shepherd and possibly norwegian elkhound. Maverick weighs 24 pounds is the runt of the litter. He has long fur and has more tan in his markings than Magnum, but also has brindle markings and a white chest. He is quite a stunning puppy! Maverick is a sweet boy, but is the least social out of the crew....but, don't be fooled....he is still very friendly! He did climb up on our neighbor's lap for attention and enjoyed the belly rub! I would say Maverick is just not as dependent on attention as his littermates. He is a wonderful puppy!
Maverick will have received his first two sets of parvo/distemper vaccines by the time he is eligible for adoption. He has already received his rabies vaccine; bordatella vaccine; dewormed twice and treated with Frontline.
