Sammy and her 2 sisters have arrived to our rescue from Rowan, Kentucky.  There are just another unwanted litter that was lucky enough to find their way to safety as they were dumped at a local shelter in Kentucky where they most likely would have been facing euthanization.

We believe this litter is a mix of possibly cocker spaniel and some type of wire-hair terrier.  Sammy weighs 13 pounds and has petite features.  Her fur is soft and feathery and medium in length.  She sports a beautiful deep red coat with a black muzzle.  We believe this crew will probably only grow to be a small to medium size dog and end up around 25 pounds.  It appears they are approximately 4 months old.

Sammy is quite sociable and friendly, however, she does appear to be the pack leader.  She most likely would be best as the only dog or be placed with a laid back, easy going dog.  She doesn't fight with the other pups, but wants to rule the roost!  She is sweet and enjoys being the center of attention.
