Maple and her littermates arrived to our rescue on Saturday, September 10th and are doing great!  This litter of pups was saved within a day of being euthanized.  They are the lucky ones.

Maple is approximately 10 weeks old and weighs around 3 pounds.  She looks to be a mix of jack russell terrier and possibly some beagle and will probably grow to be a small to medium sized dog.....more likely on the small side.

Maple is such a sweet puppy and is very sociable!  She is one of the calmer ones of the group and is most content when she is sitting on someone's lap :-)  Don't get me wrong....she loves to play with her littermates!  However, she is more of a needy, snuggly puppy.  She is somewhat puppy mouthy, but based on her size, I would prefer not to adopt her to family with young kids as she is so tiny.  If this is the type of puppy you are looking for.....then, Maple would be a good match!

Maple has received all 3 sets of parvo/distemper vaccines; dewormed 2 times and treated with Frontline.
