This litter of puppies came to us from Welch, West Virginia. They are owner surrenders who were living in not such a nice place and the shelter was grateful for us taking them to a clean, safe place.

I have to be honest and admit that I am quite stumped by this litter of puppies as far as what breeds I think they are. I do believe australian shepherd based on the fact that 3 are merle and the mother is merle, also. Several of these puppies have very curly tails!! Based on the fact that one is blonde and one is black, I would guess pug, however, they do not look pug at all. So, all I can say is they are 100% mutt and are not going to be very big in size! They have petite features with small paws.

Rachel is a sweet puppy! She enjoys being petted and is quick to come to us for attention. She is going to make a very nice pet for a loving family.

The mother weighs 19 pounds and the father was a smaller black dog around 20 pounds who sadly was hit by a car and killed. Based on this information, these puppies should grow to be medium in size. The pictures of the merle dog is Rachel's mother. She is an australian shepherd mix.
