Piper and her sisters arrived to our rescue on June 10th and are currently looking for their forever homes. They come to us from Alabama where a concerned citizen found them dumped at a racetrack and reached out to a local rescue to save them.
We believe the puppies were born around the end of March and probably a hound mix. Based on their current size and body structure, our best guess is that they will be a medium size dog. Since they have been in foster care since the beginning of May, they are very well socialized and friendly. All the puppies are being fostered with other dogs and children and doing well! They are all extremely adorable and should do well with an active family that has time to exercise and train them.
Piper is a very friendly puppy who is busy and enjoys romping with the house dogs. She is being crate trained and making progress with her house training. Her foster mom said she is learning the command "sit" before eating and treats. Piper is a sweet pup who would love to find her forever home!!
Piper has received her first two distemper/parvo vaccines, bordatella vaccine, microchipped, dewormed twice and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $450.
