Duke and his siblings were rescued from a high kill shelter located in West Viriginia.  As of 3/26/10, the vet felt they were somewhere between 10 and 12 weeks old.  Based on their markings and their size already, our best guess is that they are a mix of australian shepherd and newfoundland.  They have very large paws and we believe they are going to grow to be large dogs!  Please keep this in mind if you are considering an adoption as they are going to need a large yard to run and romp!

Duke is an adorable boy with whte, black and tan markings!  His face is just too cute! His coat is medium in length and thick.  He has very large paws and I believe he is going to grow to be a big dog!  Duke is very sweet and sociable and I think would be fine with almost any family. He is the snuggler out of this crew and very content to curl up on our laps! Duke is a playful, happy puppy looking for his furever home!  

Duke has been dewormed, treated with Frontline, and will receive his first two sets of parvo/distemper vaccines by the time he is ready for adoption.
