Cody and his siblings were rescued from a high kill shelter located in West Viriginia.  As of 3/26/10, the vet felt they were somewhere between 10 and 12 weeks old.  Based on their markings and their size already, our best guess is that they are a mix of australian shepherd and newfoundland.  They have very large paws and we believe they are going to grow to be large dogs!  Please keep this in mind if you are considering an adoption as they are going to need a large yard to run and romp!

Cody appears to be the newfoundland of this crew!  He is solid black other than a little bit of white on his chest. His coat is  long in length and thick.  Cody is just a very large puppy with very large paws and I believe he is going to grow to be an extra large dog!  He is a very sweet and sociable and I think would be fine with almost any family.  He is a playful, happy puppy looking for his furever home!  

Cody has been dewormed, treated with Frontline, and will receive his first two sets of parvo/distemper vaccines when he is ready for adoption.
