Sprinkles and her littermates arrived to our rescue on Saturday, March 24th and are just cute as can be!! They appear to be a mix of beagle and bassett hound. They are approximately 8 to 9 weeks old and are all still pretty small....the average weight being 7 pounds.

Sprinkles is really a good mix of both breeds.  She looks beagle in her face and has shorter ears, however, she has the short stubby legs like a bassett hound.   She is absolutely adorable and has a great temperment. She is very, very loving and sociable and gets along with everyone! Sprinkles is being fostered with the 3 house dogs and kids and does great with all of them. Being that she is a beagle/bassett hound mix, she will probably grow to be medium in size. She does like to follow her nose, so, a fenced yard is desired. Hounds are not an "off leash" breed.

Sprinkles will have received her first 2 sets of puppy shots, dewormed twice, and treated with flea/tick preventative by the time she is eligible for adoption. Her adoption fee is $250.
