***Gerber and Petunia would LOVE to find a home together***

This precious duo came to us from a horrible puppymill in another county where they had passed their "prime" for breeding and were no longer worthy of a home. They are very gentle but are timid at first. They have been terribly neglected and need someone to open their heart to them and show them love. If you are unfamiliar with puppymills, they are "breeding facilities" where dogs are usually kept in very small wire cages outside. They aren't allowed to come inside, and sometimes we even see puppymill dogs who have never touched grass before. Petunia and Gerber have probably only ever been caged with each other, so we would love to see them find a home together where they can share GOOD times and not just bad memories. Please offer them a spot in your heart and home. 

Meet my sweet Petunia aka. Mop. She and Gerber were breeder puppy mill dogs from Ky. who were disposed of when their services were no longer needed. They had lived all of their years in a kennel together then were thrown in the shelter. When they were close to being euthanized another shelter stepped in and took them, and thank goodness, this pair was well worth saving.
  Mop is a very sweet loving girl who wants nothing more then love and attention. She is not pesty, yippy, or hyper, just a sweet loving girl.
  Gerber and Mop must be adopted together since all they have ever known is one another.
