Jack and his littermates arrived to our rescue back in mid-December and are finally ready to rock and roll to their new homes! They had some health woes, but they are finally healthy and looking forward to finding their new families where they can become a permanent member :-).

These puppies came to us from Ohio. The mother is a purebred bassett hound and supposedly the father was a sheltie (or sheltie mix). The owner of the momma dog did not want to surrender her, however, we did pay to have her spayed so she won't have to have anymore babies! As of the end of January, these pups are about 14 weeks old. They have received their first two sets of puppy shots and dewormed 4 times.

Jack currently weighs 19 pounds and he and Christopher are the two biggest ones of the litter. Jack is very sweet and friendly, but he is not a needy pup. He is more of an independent pup and walks to the beat of his own drum :-). He is very sweet though and doesn't mind being picked up and held as Christopher does. He loves playing with our 10 month old beagle mix pup as well as his littermates. Jack has a really adorable face and will make a nice family pet.
