Wilbur and his littermates were found abandoned on a street in Auburn, Alabama and found their way to the local shelter. They were put in foster care until a rescue would commit to them...and, here they are in Mechanicsburg, PA!
We believe the puppies were born around November 10th (just a guess!). As for the breeds...they seem to truly be heinz 57 pups! Our best guess is probably some mastiff, boxer, and hound. Whatever their combination is...they are incredibly sweet puppies and absolutely loved to be held and snuggle :-)! They get along great with the "house" dogs and have yet to meet a stranger.
Wilbur is the smallest male puppy of the litter, but he is stocky. He currently weighs 11 lbs and is putting on about 2 lbs a week...so, most likely going to be a medium to large dog. He has a beautiful brindle coat with the black muzzle that makes him look mastiff. This boy is pretty calm and laid back. He does enjoy playing with his littermates and can play rough, but at times he is just chilling by himself. He is another one that is alway front and center wanting to be picked up and loved on. Whenever we pick Wilbur up...his tail is always going! He is just a happy pup :-)!
Wilbur has received his puppy vaccines, bordatella vaccine, dewormed 3 times, microchipped and treated with flea and tick preventative. His adoption fee is $325.
If you are interested in this beautiful boy, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org/. For any questions you have about him, please send an email to his foster mom, Jessie at jessie.wilson@comcast.net.
Thank you for your interest in a rescue puppy!
