Winter and her littermates were found abandoned on a street in Auburn, Alabama and found their way to the local shelter. They were put in foster care until a rescue would commit to them...and, here they are in Mechanicsburg, PA!
We believe the puppies were born around November 10th (just a guess!). As for the breeds...they seem to truly be heinz 57 pups! Our best guess is probably some mastiff, boxer, and hound. Whatever their combination is...they are incredibly sweet puppies and absolutely loved to be held and snuggle :-)! They get along great with the "house" dogs and have yet to meet a stranger.
Winter currently weighs 12 lbs and is built more like a boxer and lean. She is putting on about 2 lbs a week...so, most likely going to be a medium to large dog. She has a beautiful dark brindle coat. We actually thought she was all black by her pictures, but realized she is a very dark brindle. She is pretty rowdy and has quite a bit of energy. Her forever family is going to make sure she gets lots of exercise. She loves playing with her littermates and can play pretty rough. Winter enjoys being held and being loved on...but, she is not needy. She is a player!
Winter has received her puppy vaccines, bordatella vaccine, dewormed 3 times, microchipped and treated with flea and tick preventative. Her adoption fee is $325.
