Rollo and his littermates arrived to the rescue on August 26. 2022 from West Virginia where they were surrendered to a local shelter. We believe they were born around July 1st and a mix of cattle dog, Jack Russell Terrier and possibly some pittie. Rollo seems to be more of the cattle dog and pittie and he will probably end up between 40 to 50 lbs.
Rollo is a sweet pup! He might be a little shy when first meeting people, however, he warms up quickly. We had company over Thanksgiving and he was timid in the beginning, but ended up loving everyone! My daughter brought her dog home and Rollo was not sure of Rex, however, after 15 minutes, he loved Rex. He is a very playful puppy and enjoys romping with the other house dogs and playing with toys! Entertaining himself is not a problem! He is quite the comical puppy and barks and rolls around on the dog bed while playing with toys. When it is a nice sunny day, I normally find Rollo lounging on the wicker couch snoozing and sunning himself...lol! He also has enjoyed the leaves and jumping around in a pile of them :-). Amazingly, he is not a high strung dog, however, he is well exercised at his foster home. Rollo seems to be housetrained as he is no longer having accidents. He is truly such a sweet puppy and will make a wonderful pet for a lucky family!
Rollo has received all of his distemper/parvo vaccines, bordatella vaccine, and rabies vaccine. He has been dewormed multiple times and is current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His neuter is scheduled for January 3, 2023. His adoption fee is $400.
