Leia and her littermates arrived to the rescue on August 26. 2022 from West Virginia where they were surrendered to a local shelter. We believe they were born around July 1st and a mix of cattle dog, Jack Russell Terrier and possibly some pittie. They will probably end up a medium size dog....maybe 40 to 50 lbs.
Leia is a very sweet pup! She is all white with just a little black on her right ear. Her foster mom says she can be hesitant, but confident in her choices. She loves to stand on her back legs to visit people or to investigate. One of her favorite spots is the dog bed or lounging outside in the backyard. Her ears are very good at picking up the crackle of the treat bag....lol. She really enjoys being around people and also sharing her voice with you at times (like going to the playpen at night time). Potty training is coming along nicely! This foster family has one dog and a 10 year old daughter and she does great with everyone.
Leia has received her first 2 distemper/parvo vaccines, bordatella vaccine, dewormed and is current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.
