Captain and his littermates arrived to the rescue on August 26. 2022 from West Virginia where they were surrendered to a local shelter. We believe they were born around July 1st and a mix of cattle dog, Jack Russell Terrier and possibly some pittie. They will probably end up a medium size dog....maybe 40 to 50 lbs.
Captain is a very sweet pup! He is one of the bigger ones and may end up closer to 50 lbs. His foster family said he curious, playful and very snuggly! He will sit on anyone's lap and just be content to hang out. This family has 5 children (2 years up to teenager) and he just soaks up all the attention :-). He his not demanding of attention though. The potty training is coming along nicely and he is picking it up well. The crate is not his favorite location and he has been sleeping in bed with mom and day and doing great. Captain is very adorable and will surely steal your heart if you meet him!!
Captain has received his first 2 distemper/parvo vaccines, bordatella vaccine, dewormed and is current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $400.
