Bear and his 6 siblings have safely arrived in Pennsylvania from a very high kill shelter located in Kentucky.   They are a very sweet litter of puppies that are well socialized and love to romp!  Bear has been dewormed, treated with Frontline for fleas, received his first two sets of parvo/distemper vaccines well as his rabies vaccine.  As of 11/1/09....he is approximately 3 months old and is one the biggest one
of the litter weighing in at 15 pounds.   It appears that he is a Newfoundland and collie mix as he is mainly black with a white chest.  He has long fur that is soft and he has a large build to him.   He reminds us of a bear cub and you can't help but smile when you see him!  He is absolutely adorable and has a personality to match!

Bear has a few words of his own to say:  "Gosh...I sure am glad to be here!  I was stuck in a crate with Nate for a couple of days and man...did he stink!  Or, maybe it was me??  Well, I am just glad to be able to run around with all of my siblings now!  For some reason....everytime I see my foster mom, she is always smiling at me.  She tells me that I am soooo cute and she loves to pet and hug me.  I love that!  I am one of the quieter ones of the litter and love everyone.  I will make a wonderful pet for any family :-)  Won't you think about giving me a furever home?"
