Scooby and his 6 siblings have safely arrived in Pennsylvania from a very high kill shelter located in Kentucky. They are a very sweet litter of puppies that are well socialized and love to romp! Scooby has been dewormed, treated with Frontline for fleas, received his first two sets of parvo/distemper vaccines well as his rabies vaccine. As of 11/1/09....he is approximately 3 months old and is one of the bigger ones weighing in at 15 pounds. It appears that he is a collie mix with possibly mountain cur.  He has beautiful brindle markings with some white and tan on his face and legs.  His fur is medium in length and very shiny and soft!  He is on the larger size and will probably grow to be quite big.  Scooby is a very sociable pup who loves to receive attention or he can be very content to be on his own.  He has a very nice temperment and will make a wonderful pet.

Scooby has a few words of his own to say: "Okay...all of my brothers are complaining...but, none of them were stuck with their sisters for two straight days!!  I don't want to even hear it from them!  Do you know what I had to listen to on the way up??  "My fur is a mess"; "you're stinky"; and, "are we ever going to get there?!"  Good grief!!  Thank goodness we arrived and I don't have to listen to them anymore!.  It is pretty cool where I am now.  There is a nice big back yard that I can run around and romp with my siblings; lots of food and water; a nice warm place to sleep and some other dogs.  But....I guess we can't hang here forever.  So, I guess I am going to need a pad to call "home".  Do you have a home to provide for me?  I am a pretty cool pup!  I don't like to admit that I am sweet and sociable...but, I am.! Playtime is the best and I play hard.  A family that is active would be great..you know..someone to walk me everyday or throw ball.  All my brothers and sisters are getting adopted and I am soon going to be the only one left.  Won't you think about giving me a home, too?"

Thank you for wanting to provide a permanent home to a rescue puppy!
