Nate and his 6 siblings have safely arrived in Pennsylvania from a very high kill shelter located in Kentucky. They are a very sweet litter of puppies that are well socialized and love to romp! Nate has been dewormed, treated with Frontline for fleas, received his first two sets of parvo/distemper vaccines well as his rabies vaccine. As of 11/1/09....he is approximately 3 months old and is one the bigger ones of the litter weighing in at 14 pounds. It appears that he is mostly black labrador retriever and probably collie/possibly newfoundland. He is solid black and has medium length fur that is very shiny and soft. He has a rather large build to him and will probably grow to be quite big. He is a little lover and quite the social butterfly! Nate has a wonderful temperment and will make a great pet for any family! Nate has a few words of his own to say: "Gosh...I sure am glad to be here! I was stuck in a crate with Bear for a couple of days and man...did he stink! It wasn't me! I am so glad to be out of that crate and have a big back yard that I can just run around and romp. When I first got here, my foster mom has this big dog and it totally freaked me out! I was pretty scared, but I am doing better now. I know, I know...for being a big puppy, you would think I could handle it! But, she was scary! I am quite sociable and love people!! I dig other dogs too, but biggers one are kind of scary and it may take me a couple of days to adjust. I love my foster mom's chihuahua. That dog.....I can handle! I am one of the rowdier ones of the litter and love everyone. I will make a wonderful pet for any family :-) Won't you think about giving me a furever home?"
