Shaggy and his 6 siblings have safely arrived in Pennsylvania from a very high kill shelter located in Kentucky. They are a very sweet litter of puppies that are well socialized and love to romp! Shaggy has been dewormed, treated with Frontline for fleas, received his first two sets of parvo/distemper vaccines well as his rabies vaccine. As of 11/1/09....he is approximately 3 months old and is in the middle of the pack weighing in at 13 pounds. It appears that he is a collie mix with possibly mountain cur.  He is tan and black with collie markings on his face and his fur is medium in length; very shiny and soft!  He is on the larger size and will probably grow to be big.  Shaggy is a sweet pup who loves attention, but is on the quiet side.  He is rather laid back and is content to play with the other siblings or content to be on his own.  So, if you are looking for a quiet pup who enjoys attention but isn't demanding....please consider Shaggy!  He is a very nice puppy who will make a wonderful pet!  

Shaggy has a few words of his own to say: "I don't know what all of my siblings are fussing about!  We were stuck in crates for a couple of days....but heck, look where we ended!  We have a big back yard to play in with plenty of food and water and a nice warm place to sleep.  It's great!  Although, I heard my foster mom say we can't stay forever.  So, I guess I am going to need to find a place to call "home".  Do you have a home to provide for me?  I am a really nice puppy that is sweet and easy going and will love you even if you are having a bad day!  My foster mom is always telling me what a cutie I am.  Maybe you think I am, too?!  Please think about giving me a home and I will be your best furry friend forever!"
