Lucy and her littermates joined our rescue on Wednesday, April 10th and are in search of their new forever homes! They join us from a shelter in Valley, Alabama. They were surrendered by their owners as they were not planning for puppies and could not care for them. The owners say the mother dog is a purebred Chesapeake Bay Retriever. I think there were multiple fathers in this litter!
Lucy is the only chocolate female in this litter and currently weighs 20 lbs. She is average size of the litter and absolutely beautiful! I think her father may have been a doberman pinscher. Her markings are that of a dobie. She is definitely the most energetic of this litter and will definitely need regular exercie. She is very sweet, friendly and playful and enjoys romping with her littermates.
Lucy is current on distemper, bordatella, rabies, dewormings, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $350.
